Space Weather Sensing Suite

Viridian Labs offers a configurable space weather sensing suite that combines plasma and magnetic field measurement technologies into a single, mission-tailored instrument suite. Leveraging existing Floating Potential Probes, Langmuir Probes, Impedance Probes, and Magnetometers, we can deliver a solution that provides comprehensive characterization of the local space environment.

Existing instruments support measurements of plasma density, electron temperature, spacecraft charging, electric fields, plasma irregularities, and magnetic field variations within a compact, low-resource payload.

A suite can be used off the shelf or adapted to spacecraft resource constraints, science objectives, and mission-specific measurement requirements — as a single-sensor instrument or a coordinated multi-sensor suite, from technology demonstration to science missions.
